Looking for Gloucester’s next showgirl

13/08/2008 5:00:00 AM
Gloucester’s AH and P Society has called on young women interested in taking part in The Land Sydney Royal showgirl Competition for 2009 to nominate for the Gloucester judging.

The competition is open to those aged between 18 and 24.

More information on the competition is available from Gloucester’s show secretary Ann Plumridge on 6558 2468, or log onto www.sydneyroyal.com.au.

The show society is keen to see a lot of local interest in the event as Gloucester has been nominated to host the zone judging of the 2010 competition.

Expressions of interest are also being sought for the 2009 RAS Rural Achievers competition.

The awards are open to those aged between 20 and 27 and bring together ambitious, enthusiastic and dedicated young achievers in the rural sector. Nominations close on October 31.
