State role for Rachel

26/11/2008 4:00:00 AM
Gloucester High School student Rachel Pettitt will help shape the direction of her peers and those around the state after her election as the district representative to join the State SRC Conference Action team.

A member of Gloucester High’s SRC for four years, Rachel recently attended the Lower North Coast-Taree Mannning District SRC meeting and was elected as the representative to join the state-based team.

The team organises and runs the annual NSW State SRC conference which will be held over four days in August 2009.

The conference celebrated its 21st anniversary this year and each year up to 130 regional SRC student leaders take part.

The conference theme sets the agenda for regional SRC student leadership activities for the following twelve months.
