What great weather was had for our Camellia Fours last Wednesday when we had two full greens of lady bowlers from around the district enjoying their bowls.

Two games of 12 ends were played before lunch with one game in the afternoon.

Overall winners were a team from Forster skipped by Muriel Yarnold.

Second place was taken out by a Gloucester team of Pirjo Maurer, Jill Everett, Daph Wilson and Lorraine Holmes. Congratulations to our girls. Third place went to a team skipped by Lorraine Sky from Taree Leagues.

Raffle winners for the day were Maria Baldwin – patchworked quilt; Vera Whatmore - ribboned picture, Connie Soars - fruit tray.

The Money Tree prizes were spread around as was the 100 Club.

A big thank you to our men umpires for helping out on the day - Gordon Pritchard, Len Peters and also Margaret Andrews.

Our lovely meal was served from the restaurant – thank you Kent.

President Joan would like to thank all bowlers who came along early to help out with morning tea and setting of tables which made the day run more smoothly and make it the success it was.

Sorry to hear vice-president Ellen Murray is still not well.

The final of Championship Pairs is being played today (Wednesday, August 20) Heather Williams and Joan Ridgeway play Daph Wilson and Lorraine Holmes – good luck to all.
